Rezident, designed by Paul van der Laan, can be characterized as a smooth techno display typeface which draws its inspiration from James Bond movies, Formula 1 cars, club culture and Playstation gaming.

It was submitted to the 3rd International Type Design Contest organized by Linotype Library in 1999 and was awarded a silver medal subsequently.
